Acupuncture is a time-tested therapeutic method that uses targeted stimulation of specific reflex points to activate the body’s natural regulatory responses.
This stimulation is typically performed with very fine acupuncture needles. Gentle alternatives such as laser acupuncture or magnetized micro-beads may also be used — especially suitable for sensitive individuals and children.
The goal of every treatment is to harmonize energy flow, release blockages, and support the body’s self-regulation.
Forms of Acupuncture in My Practice
Body Acupuncture
Body acupuncture is based on principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Points are located along the body’s meridians — energetic pathways — as well as at defined extra points outside these channels.
Targeted stimulation can:
- Activate regulatory processes
- Support organ function
- Harmonize physiological systems
- Promote overall balance
Ear Acupuncture (Auriculotherapy)
Ear acupuncture, further developed in modern naturopathy by French physician Dr. Paul Nogier, is based on the understanding that the entire body is reflected in reflex zones of the ear.
Stimulating these points can influence:
- Organ systems
- Pain patterns
- Autonomic nervous regulation
- Emotional states
If desired, treatment can be applied in a semi-permanent form, where tiny needles or micro-beads remain in the ear for several hours or days, providing continuous gentle stimulation.
How Acupuncture Works
Each acupuncture point transmits energetic information through neural and bioelectrical impulses within the body. This allows acupuncture to support healing on multiple levels.
