Reflex Zone Therapy

Reflex Zone Therapy is an umbrella term for therapeutic methods that stimulate specific body areas and tissue structures in order to trigger regulatory responses in corresponding organs and organ systems.

It is based on the understanding that the human body is deeply interconnected. Every organ communicates through neurological, energetic, and reflex pathways with defined tissues and zones throughout the body.

Within Traditional European Medicine (TEM), reflex therapies arise from knowledge of stimulus processing, tissue sensitivity, and the body’s regulatory capacity. Targeted stimulation can activate self-healing mechanisms, release tension patterns, and support functional harmony.

Nasal Reflex Therapy (Röder Therapy)

Nasal Reflex Therapy, also known as Röder Therapy, is a particularly gentle form of reflex zone treatment.

In this method, three primary reflex zones inside the nasal cavity are carefully stimulated. A cotton applicator infused with specialized oil is used to treat specific areas of the nasal mucosa with precision and care.

The therapy was developed by Dr. Johannes Röder (1866–1918) and has since been integrated into naturopathic and regulatory medicine.
